Broad community engagement is essential to our Vision 2034 process. Input is being sought from students, faculty, staff and alumni across all three U-M campuses and Michigan Medicine, as well as from donors, families, and government and civic leaders. Join Vision 2034 to help chart our path to the future.

In order to create a collective vision for the University of Michigan, we must imagine what is possible and what we can create together, on our campuses, in our communities and for our world by 2034. Through a variety of community engagement opportunities, you will have the opportunity to explore and share your perspectives on questions like the following:
- What should U-M look like in 2034?
- Who will we dare to be? What will we stand for?
- What will we aspire to achieve and how will we get there?
- How will we maximize our impact in our community, region or around the globe?
- What are our responsibilities as a great university?
Unit-level Information Sessions
Many schools, colleges and campus units will be hosting unit-level sessions to inform the visioning effort. Look for updates regarding upcoming opportunities from your local-level leadership.
Focus Groups
Targeted focus groups facilitated by the Vision 2034 project team are available upon request and subject to schedule availability. To request a focus group, contact: vision2034@umich.edu.
Campus Survey
A campuswide survey is being developed in partnership with the U-M Institute for Social Research for launch later in the year.

The U-M community is invited to join Vision 2034 by participating in any of the following scheduled events to learn more about the process and contribute to the future direction of the university. (Additional town hall dates will be added as they are scheduled.)
